What we did on our summer vacation

Dear Friends,

It’s been a busy summer.

In action after action, Communities Creating Opportunity has stood boldly for Economic Dignity and Racial Equity. We’d like to share a couple recent highlights:

Click here to see the leadership of congregations across the metro who are claiming sacred space in our Kansas City neighborhoods and dignity for our families within them. (Be sure to listen to the story to hear the service!)

As we prepare for an exciting Fall of leadership development and community organizing we invite you to join the Movement in creating opportunity for all.

Can you chip in $3 towards our ongoing training and development?

We have been honored to walk with civil rights leaders such as C.T. Vivian, a member of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King’s inner circle, who are stepping forward in the legacy of those who have gone before us.

We are committed to building on this legacy.  Please help us continue the effort with whatever you can donate today.

Thank you for your inspirational support, leadership and courage in our work together.

In Peace & Power,
